Arabiyat Prestige

A Dubai House Learns to Travel

From a company founded by Firoz Baugwala in 1993 to a generation of fragrances finding audiences across the region and beyond.

Dubai is more than the setting; it is how the house learned to combine inheritance with movement.

THE BEGINNING · 1993

A City Between Inheritance and Invention

Before Arabiyat Prestige became a name repeated across fragrance counters and social feeds, there was My Perfumes. Firoz Baugwala founded the company in Dubai in 1993, just as the city’s modern retail economy was gathering speed.

The company describes Dubai as a place bringing together the best of East and West. Here, it found a living perfume culture—incense at home, oils in the souq, oud as hospitality and personal ritual—alongside trade, manufacturing, and access to world markets.

THREE DECADES · THEN ACCELERATION

From Perfume Business to Portfolio House

My Perfumes expanded across manufacturing, retail, wholesale, private-label production, and international distribution. Arabiyat and Arabiyat Prestige became part of a wider portfolio rather than the company’s only identity.

The public catalogue’s earliest currently listed Arabiyat Prestige release dates to 2020. Releases multiplied through 2023 and 2024, then accelerated sharply in 2025. The range moved between oud and amber, and tea, ginger, coconut, fruit, vanilla, and modern musks.

Bottles with immediate presence: heavy glass, polished finishes, and a quickly recognisable identity.

03 · THE BREAKOUT YEAR

The Launches That Changed the Conversation

In an interview published by Khaleej Times, the company named six fragrances it said went viral globally in 2025: Nyla, Marwa, Mahd Al Dhahab, La Di Da, Ramad Oriental, and Aariz.

THE NOSES

When a House Becomes a Creative Platform

Arabiyat Prestige has not relied on one signature perfumer. Industry catalogues credit the house’s internal team alongside an expanding international group of noses.

These are the locations currently listed on the official store page, not a complete map of every distributor. The company describes global distribution and relationships with regional retail chains, while directing customers to contact it for current authorised partners.

The house began by translating a city into scent. Its next chapter is about discovering how far that translation can travel.
