UAE Fragrance Library
An independent fragrance library from the UAE — documenting scent as culture, not commerce.
The Library
A reading room for scent — not a shop.
UAE Fragrance Library is an independent archive and editorial platform. We document fragrance as culture from a contemporary UAE perspective — with disclosure, restraint, and rigour. The intention is the calm of a private atelier rather than the noise of a storefront: records to be read and returned to, not products to be sold.
About the Founder
A personal archive, shaped by time.
Mohammed Al Ameeri — Founder and Independent Fragrance Archivist, United Arab Emirates
UAE Fragrance Library is an independent fragrance archive built through curiosity, discipline, repeated wear, and long-term evaluation. It is not a perfume shop, and no fragrance is evaluated for the purpose of sale.
“A fragrance reveals itself only to those who give it time.”
Performance, projection, structure, and character are considered across repeated wear and changing conditions. Each record reflects how a fragrance develops over time — particularly within the climate and cultural context of the UAE.
The Library presents one considered perspective, shaped by exposure to Arabian, Eastern, and Western perfumery. No ranking is absolute, and no opinion is universal. Every published record, however, is intended to be honest, independent, and transparent.
Products received as gifts, samples, or through collaborations will always be identified clearly and will not guarantee positive coverage.
The library opens in stages.
Records are being documented and disclosed with care. Each entry will carry house, perfumer, year, olfactive family, notes, performance, climate context, and an honest evaluation.
